Along with the album announcement, the boys have released their second video from the cycle, "Within the Crucible". The video, featuring footage shot while recording "Into Temptation" at Quicksand studios has been self-produced by Slim. This is the second video Slim has now self-produced having released in late 2014 the video for “bleed for Me” as well.

The Axe Attack
With The Axe Attack announcement today a lot of people have been contacting me to ask if Paul's show will be coming over to us now that he has confirmed it will not be returning to the Rock. First off let me say I would LOVE to be able to say "YES!!!" and I would personally move mountains to make it happen if he told me he was keen, but I have to say that as of tonight I have no news to offer on this topic. However I'm certain that The Axeman has an ace up his sleeve, so I am confident that NZ's number one Metal DJ will be back on air real soon, and if it's not with us then we hope it is with an organisation who will keep his show's high profile intact and recognise/celebrate its critical value in promoting the NZ Metal scene. Tainted to announce album release date with second video
Christchurch metal veterans Tainted are preparing to announce the release date of their long awaited third studio album with a new video release. The video, will go live on both their Youtube channel and Facebook page at 7.00pm (UTC+12:00 Auckland NZL) on Sunday the 8th of March, followed shortly by a statement of the album release date.
Tainted's third studio release, recorded at Christchurch's Quicksand studios with producer Clint Murphy returning for the sessions, comes six and a half years after their last album 'Carved and Created'. The video, shot during the recording sessions in the studio, will be their second after the single 'Bleed for Me,' released in August of 2014.
